Char Gardner

Char Gardner is a visual artist and writer of creative nonfiction. Her essays and drawings have appeared in The Gettysburg Review, Brevity, Redivider, and Another Chicago. She is the recipient of the Carol Houck Smith Award from The Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference. After thirty years working internationally as a documentary filmmaker, she now resides in the Green Mountains of Vermont where she is working on a memoir.
