Davis McCombs
Davis McCombs is the author of three books of poetry: Ultima Thule (Yale University Press, 2000), Dismal Rock (Tupelo Press, 2007), and lore (University of Utah Press, 2016). He has received grants from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Guggenheim Foundation. His poems have appeared in the New Yorker, Poetry, the American Poetry Review, and Virginia Quarterly Review, among many other publications. For the past eighteen years, he has served as director of the program in creative writing and translation at the University of Arkansas.
