Henry Hart

Henry Hart has published four books of poetry, the most recent being Familiar Ghosts (Orchises Press, 2014). His poems have appeared in The Southern Review, The Georgia Review, The Yale Review, and other journals. He has also published several books of literary criticism and the biographies of James Dickey and Robert Frost. His most recent book, Seamus Heaney’s Gifts (LSU Press, 2024), won the Lewis P. Simpson Award. He teaches in the English department of William and Mary, and lives in Williamsburg, Virginia.
