Matthew Baker
Named one of Variety’s “10 Storytellers to Watch,” Matthew Baker is the author of the graphic novel The Sentence (Dzanc, 2024), the story collections Why Visit America (Henry Holt, 2020) and Hybrid Creatures (LSU Press, 2018), and the children’s novel If You Find This (Little, Brown, 2015). Digital experiments include the temporal fiction “Ephemeral,” the interlinked novel Untold, the randomized novel Verses, the intentionally posthumous Afterthought, and the collaborative tête-à-tête Terminal, along with the cyberzine Code Lit. Born in the Great Lakes region of the United States, the author currently lives in Singapore.
