Betsy Podsiadlo

Betsy Podsiadlo (she/they) is a Richmond based composer, performer, and educator specializing in community driven work. Her music can be heard in the short film "Is It True?" shown at the SoHo Film Festival in 2025, as well as in her electro-acoustic solo project "No Words" which is streamable on all platforms. She can also be heard around Virginia performing with her climate justice protest band, Betsy from Mars. In 2023, Betsy was named the inaugural Mellon Producing Fellow as well as a Big Ears Scholarship winner. Betsy is also the in-house Festival Producer for MidMountain Artist Retreat in Natural Bridge, VA.

Maizie Somerville

Maizie Somerville is a queer, disabled poet and book maker currently residing in Richmond, Virginia. Their work has been best described as “a scream and the echo,” with poems and prose ranging on topics from chronic illness and religious deconstruction to feminine rage and the magic of moss. When not writing, Maizie is likely to be found chasing sunsets on her bike and stopping to say hello to any little critter that crosses her path.
