Now she is dead and I dream
she is alive. Or she is alive
and I am dead, dreaming.
She is dead dreaming she is
alive and I am alive looking
for her in a dream. For years
I brought a black dress everywhere
I traveled. For years I dreamed
she would die. I dreamed inside
a black dress. I traveled in a dream
for years to find her. She was
looking for me everywhere,
she was wearing a black dress.
Thank goodness, she said,
I found you alive.
