Dylan Karges
DYLAN KARGES

Dylan Karges is an artist, community activist, and educator. His art has appeared in several solo and group exhibitions, including Clay Bodies, an installation which investigates individual longing and belonging while questioning place and personal isolation, and incorporate a spirit of community and imagery taken from religion and the desert. His art has been influenced by his experience with the Cobb Institute of Archeology at archeological sites in Israel. Karges’s public art projects and work with AmeriCorps VISTA generate support for public arts and arts-based community development. Karges is a technical illustrator at the Cobb Institute of Archeology and a studio instructor for the School of Architecture and Department of Art at Mississippi State University.  end
