Ira Sukrungruang is the author of the memoirs Southside Buddhist (University of Tampa Press, 2014) and Talk Thai: The Adventures of Buddhist Boy (University of Missouri Press, 2010), and the poetry collection In Thailand It Is Night (University of Tampa Press, 2013). His essays have appeared in Creative Nonfiction, Shambhala Sun, and Crab Orchard Review. He teaches in the MFA program at the University of South Florida and the low-residency MFA program at City University Hong Kong.
