Irene Ziegler is the author of Ashes to Water (Five Star, 2010) which is set in DeLand, Florida, where she grew up. Her novel, Rules of the Lake (Southern Methodist University Press, 1999), was adapted for the stage and won the Mary Roberts Rinehart Award. Her short plays have been performed internationally. She teaches playwriting at the University of Richmond and works as a voice over artist.
