Twist-O-Flex

A cheap band
you could
design whose gold
and joy settled in
the hours to
we call
wind whirled. I
could smell
blade catching mirco-
kept it in a
these years. Sometimes
bag, the other, then
that rode his wrist for twenty
twist, bend, but not break, an
plating wore off with his
the watch face: two
years in its sealed
time, all those
would wear it, but changing
him there on each
scopic bits of hair,
plastic sandwich bag inside
I try opening
place my face there
years. One
eclectic
life. Grief
bright hands swept
case where what
whims in a caught
the band
accordion twiston
skin. I’ve
another all
one
to breathe.
