Constance Adler
CONSTANCE ADLER

Constance Adler is the author of the memoir My Bayou: New Orleans through the Eyes of a Lover (Michigan State University Press, 2012). Her work has appeared in Bayou Magazine, Blackbird, Oxford American, Spy Magazine, and Utne Reader, among others. Her profile of Mardi Gras float designer Henri Schindler, as published in Gambit Weekly, was awarded first place in feature writing by the Louisiana Press Association. Adler holds an MA in creative writing from Hollins University and teaches memoir writing at Tulane University.  end
