E.V. Lucas (1868–1938) was an English writer and editor. He worked for the humor magazine Punch beginning in 1904 and was a prolific writer of stories, essays, poetry, and plays. He was commissioned as a young man to edit the work of Charles Lamb and is known as Lamb’s principal biographer.
