JULIA KOLCHINSKY DASBACH

Julia Kolchinsky Dasbach is the author of 40 WEEKS, forthcoming from YesYes Books in 2022; Don't Touch the Bones (Lost Horse Press, 2020), winner of the 2019 Idaho Poetry Prize; and The Many Names for Mother (The Kent State University Press, 2019), winner of the Stan and Tom Wick Poetry Prize and finalist for the National Jewish Book Award. Her poems appear in The American Poetry Review, The Nation, POETRY, and TriQuarterly. Her work has been selected for Best New Poets, the William Carlos Williams University Poetry Prize from the Academy of American Poets, and New South’s Poetry Prize. Dasbach is the editor of Construction Magazine and host of the reading series Words Together Worlds Apart. She holds an MFA in poetry from the University of Oregon and is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Pennsylvania.  end
