Brian Culhane is the author of The King’s Question: Poems (Graywolf Press, 2008), which won the 2007 Poetry Foundation’s Emily Dickinson Award for a first book by an author over fifty. His poems have appeared widely in such journals as The New Criterion, The Hudson Review, The Paris Review, and Plume. He is the recipient of fellowships from Washington State’s Artist Trust (2007), MacDowell (2009), and the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts (2018).
