JOHN SIBLEY WILLIAMS

John Sibley Williams is the author of several chapbooks, including As One Fire Consumes Another (Orison Books, 2019), which won the 2018 Orison Poetry Prize, and Skin Memory (The Backwaters Press, 2019), which won the 2019 Backwaters Prize in Poetry. He is also the author of Summon (JuxtaProse Chapbook Prize, 2019), Disinheritance (Apprentice House, 2016), and Controlled Hallucinations (FutureCycle Press, 2013). His work has appeared in the North American Review, Prairie Schooner, Verse Daily, The Yale Review, and elsewhere. He is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Wabash Prize for Poetry (2018), Philip Booth Award (2018), and Laux/Millar RR Poetry Prize (2018). He works as a freelance poetry editor, a literary agent, and an editor of The Inflectionist Review.  end
