Bruce Kilstein is the author of the novel Destroying Angel (Crossroad Press, 2008). His work has appeared in The American Scholar and Sherlock Holmes Mystery Magazine. He is the recipient of the 2021 Michael Kenneth Smith Fellowship in fiction (Porches Writing Retreat) and the 2016 and 2017 winner of The Nancy Potter Award for Short Fiction from the University of Rhode Island. He earned his MFA in creative writing from Emerson College. He is an associate professor of liberal arts at Berklee College of Music.
