TY PHELPS

Ty Phelps’s work has appeared or is forthcoming in Barstow and Grand, Clackamas Literary Review, Poets.org, Streetlight, Writespace, Zizzle, and elsewhere. Phelps is the recipient of the 2021 Nancy Ludmerer Fellowship for Flash Fiction, the 2019 Catherine and Joan Byrne Poetry Prize, and The Gravity of the Thing’s 2016 Six Word Story Contest. He was a finalist in Gigantic Sequins 2016 flash fiction contest. He is an MFA candidate in fiction and nonfiction at Virginia Commonwealth University, where he serves as the Cabell First Novelist Award Fellow.  end
