Michael Lavers is the author of the poetry collection After Earth (University of Tampa Press, 2019). His poems have appeared in Ploughshares, AGNI, Southwest Review, and The Georgia Review, among others. He is the recipient of the 2021 Moth Poetry Prize, the 2020 Bridport Poetry Prize, and the 2018 University of Canberra Vice-Chancellor’s International Poetry Prize. He is an associate professor of English at Brigham Young University.
