What happened was I was drawing in this series thinking that I was pulling both information, and pulling information from both the crocheted works, the crocheted and rubberband drawings and these other drawings on paper that I had been doing.

And I was walking every day, one way or the other to my studio, and these guys are putting up a protective sheeting around, under the bridge and around the trestle work.

And it was a couple of weeks into these drawings that I realized that this is pretty much what I was drawing.
