April Lindner's collection Skin received the 2002 Walt McDonald First Book Prize from Texas Tech University Press. Her poems have appeared in The Paris Review, Prairie Schooner, The Formalist, Crazyhorse, and many other literary magazines and anthologies. Garrison Keillor featured her poem "First Kiss" in his anthology Good Poems (Penguin, 2003) and has read her work on his nationally syndicated radio program, The Writer’s Almanac. In 2002, she was a Walter E. Dakin fellow at the Sewanee Writers' Workshop. She teaches at St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia.
