Sarah Vap grew up in Missoula, Montana. She received her MFA degree in poetry at Arizona State University in 2005. She currently teaches creative writing at Phoenix College and in Phoenix public schools for Arizona State’s Young Writers Program. Her work has been recently published or is forthcoming in FIELD, Diner, Barrow Street, Denver Quarterly, Court Green, and Natural Bridge. She is currently an editor of poetry at the journal 42opus.
