DAVID BAKER

David Baker is the author of eight collections of poetry, including, most recently, Midwest Ecologue (Norton, 2005). He has also written criticism, including Radiant Lyre: Essays on Lyric Poetry, forthcoming from Graywolf in 2007. Baker is the recipient of fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation and has won awards from the Pushcart Prize and the Ohio Arts Council. He is a Professor of English at Denison University and poetry editor of The Kenyon Review.
