Catherine MacDonald lives in Richmond, Virginia, and teaches writing at Virginia Commonwealth University. Her poetry has appeared in the journals Washington Square, The Cortland Review, and storySouth. MacDonald’s work will be in the anthology, Letters to the World, forthcoming from Red Hen Press. She received the Catherine and Joan Byrne Poetry Prize and a Ropewalk Writer’s Conference scholarship.
