From our vault of unpublished audio captures we bring you a recording and transcript of a reading by poet Terrance Hayes.
On April 3, 2008, Hayes read his poems, previously published and new work, on the campus of Virginia Commonwealth University.
The reading was part of the VCU Visiting Writers Series, sponsored and organized by the university’s MFA program in Creative Writing. This series brings writers working in a variety of genres to Richmond for discussions, workshops, and public readings.
Hayes was introduced by David Wojahn.
