        Lines Squared  

In the spring of 2010, Jessica Lang will premiere her work: Crossed for Joffrey Ballet; Solo in Nine Parts for Kansas City Ballet; Many a Moons for the Bermuda Dance Foundation Gala; and a new work for the Titas Command Performance Gala in Dallas. She has choreographed and staged works for numerous companies including American Ballet Theatre, Colorado Ballet, Kansas City Ballet, Richmond Ballet, Cincinnati Ballet, Washington Ballet, Pennsylvania Ballet, and Milwaukee Ballet. She has also produced works for several universities including The Juilliard School, New York Choreographic Institute, New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, The Ailey School/Fordham BFA Program, among many others. Lang is the recipient of numerous grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, and she has received the Choo San Goh Award. She has been given unique commissions from the Dallas Museum of Art as well as The Juilliard School for its Centennial Celebration Concert. Lang is a graduate of The Juilliard School and a former member of Twyla Tharp’s company, THARP! She lives in New York City, where she teaches at the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School at American Ballet Theatre.  end
