Notes on Liberty

Contributor's Commentary
Depending on the subject, my technique can borrow from very traditional documentary filmmaking practices, more expressive techniques or a mixture of both. I’m most concerned with provoking thought, to engage and to create an intelligent dialogue with an audience. So I see my stylistic choices as being largely driven by those concerns. Naturally this is balanced with my own artistic tendencies which favor visual playfulness, an interest in visually and aurally expressing subjective states, cultural critique, attention to sound design and often seeking to get at larger issues through personal stories and exploration.
