translating Patrice de la Tour du Pin

Jennifer Grotz is a poet and translator whose first original collection, Cusp (Houghton Mifflin, 2003), won the Bakeless Prize in poetry, as well as the Natalie Ornish Prize from the Texas Institute of Letters, and second collection, The Needle, is forthcoming from Houghton Mifflin in 2011. Her translations of the French Poet la Tour du Pin have appeared or are forthcoming in Ploughshares, New England Review, Tri-Quarterly, Poetry International, and elsewhere. Grotz is the assistant director of the Bread Loaf Writers’ conference and teaches in the MFA program at the University of Rochester.  end
