Lynne Elson
LYNNE ELSON

Lynne Elson is a playwright who also teaches theater at Churchill Junior High School. She is the author of the play A Blessed Unrest, which won the 2014 Firehouse Theatre’s Festival of Many New American Plays. It was also featured in staged readings with Now Theatre Company and Passage Theatre in 2012. Her play Crazy, Crazy on You was featured in the 2011 Philly Fringe Festival and published in Kelsey Review (2012). Now Theatre Company and the East Brunswick Performing Arts Center coproduced Elson’s adaptation of the Charles Dickens’ classic Cricket on the Hearth in 2010. She has published two full-length plays: Stolen, with Indie Theatre Now and Holiday Shmoliday with Playscripts, Inc., and two books for teens: Girls Rule! and Guys Rule!, both published by Meriwether Publishing Ltd.  end
