Margaret Mackinnon is the author of The Invented Child (Silverfish Review Press, 2013), winner of the Gerald Cable Book Award and the 2014 Literary Award in Poetry from the Library of Virginia. Her chapbook, Naming the Natural World (2018), won the annual chapbook award from Sow’s Ear Poetry Review. Her poems have appeared in Alaska Quarterly Review, The Hampden-Sydney Poetry Review, Image, and POETRY, among others.
