Brandon Young’s work has appeared or is forthcoming in RHINO and BOAAT. He is the recipient of the Bertolt Clever Poetry Writing Prize. He is an MFA candidate in poetry at Virginia Commonwealth University where he serves as the 2021–2022 Levis Reading Prize Fellow. Currently, he is the lead copyeditor for Blackbird: an online journal of literature & the arts.
