LAURA VAN PROOYEN

Laura Van Prooyen’s first collection of poetry, Inkblot and Altar, was published by Pecan Grove Press in 2006. Her work appears or is forthcoming in The Boston Review, The Greensboro Review, and No Tell Motel, among other journals. Her honors include grants from the American Association of University Women and Barbara Deming Memorial Fund, and a Dorothy Sargent Rosenberg Prize. A graduate of the MFA program for writers at Warren Wilson College, Van Prooyen lives in Illinois, where she writes and teaches at Dominican University.  end
