Wesley Gibson
WESLEY GIBSON

Wesley Gibson (1959–2016) is the author of the novels Personal Saviors (Chelsea Station Editions, 2011) and Shelter (Harmony Books, 1992). Gibson is also the author of a memoir, You Are Here: A Memoir of Arrival (Back Bay Books, 2004). His work has appeared in The Village Voice Literary Supplement, MARY: a Journal of New Writing, Out magazine, and has been anthologized in Men on Men 5 (Plume, 1994). His honors include a New York Foundation for the Arts Artists’ Fellowship for Nonfiction, a Mississippi Review Fiction Prize, and a Virginia Commission on the Arts grant in fiction. He taught in the MFA program at Saint Mary’s College of California.  end
