NANCY TAYLOR EVERETT

Poems from Nancy Taylor Everett’s manuscript Lexica have won the 2004 poetry competition sponsored by the Baltimore Review and the 2004 James Wright Poetry Award sponsored by Mid-American Review. Her chapbook Juliet as Herself is the winner of the 2004 Hudson Valley Writers’ Center chapbook contest and was published by Slapering Hol Press. She has also been a finalist in contests held by Indiana Review, Arts & Letters, River Styx, Two Rivers Review, and The Cream City Review. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in GSU Review, Fourteen Hills, Wisconsin Review, Patterson Review, Nimrod, RUNES, Spoon River Quarterly, Two Rivers Review, Paper Street, the Chautauqua Literary Journal, and Poetry Motel.

Everett holds a BA in Creative Writing from University of California-Santa Cruz, and she is active in the San Francisco Thirteen Ways Writers Workshop. She is a marketing professional in educational publishing.
