A.E Stallings is the author of several books of poetry, most recently This Afterlife: Selected Poems (Farrar, Straus and Giroux, 2022).She has also published three verse translations, most recently an illustrated The Battle Between the Frogs and the Mice (Paul Dry Books, 2019). She has received a translation grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, and fellowships from United States Artists, the Guggenheim Foundation, and the MacArthur Foundation. A member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, she has been a faculty member at conferences such as the Sewanee Writers’ Conference and Breadloaf.
