BETH BACHMANN

Beth Bachmann is the author of two books of poetry from the University of Pittsburgh Press’s Pitt Poetry Series: Do Not Rise (forthcoming, 2015), which won the 2011 Poetry Society of America’s Alice Fay Di Castagnola Award for a manuscript-in-progress, and Temper (2009), winner of the 2008 AWP Donald Hall Prize for Poetry and the 2010 Kate Tufts Discovery Award. Her poetry has appeared or is forthcoming in The American Poetry Review, Boston Review, Ploughshares, and The New Republic. Each fall, she serves as Writer-in-Residence for Vanderbilt University’s MFA Program in Creative Writing.  end
