Silvia Bonilla is the author of the chapbook, An Animal Startled by the Mechanisms of Life (Deadly Chaps, 2014). Her work has appeared in Green Mountains Review, Pittsburgh Poetry Journal, and Crosswinds Poetry. She has received fellowships from the Constance Saltonstall Foundation for the Arts, Community of Writers, Letras Latinas, Sewanee Writers’ Conference, The Vermont College of Fine Arts, The Frost Place, Colgate Writers Conference, among several others. She earned her MFA from the New School.
