Matt Donovan received his MFA from New York University and is currently an assistant professor of creative writing at the College of Santa Fe. His first collection of poems, Vellum (Houghton Mifflin, 2007), was selected by Mark Doty for the Bakeless Prize in Poetry. His poems have been published in several journals, including AGNI, Poetry, The Kenyon Review, The Gettysburg Review, The Threepenny Review, and The Virginia Quarterly Review. He is the recipient of a Pushcart Prize (2008) and a fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts (2004).
