Samyak Shertok’s poems appear or are forthcoming in the The Cincinnati Review, Waxwing, West Branch, and elsewhere. A recipient of fellowships from Aspen Words, the Virginia G. Piper Center, and the Vermont Studio Center, and of scholarships from Tebot Bach and the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, he worked as a visiting poet at Mayo Clinic in 2014–2015.
